The graduates of Sociology Department of FISIP UNS are targeted to be the following professions:
- Social Analyst
A social analyst is able to read and to interpret data based on Sociological theoretical perspective. He/she also can master Sociological research method, identify, and formulate an applicative solution in Sociological perspective.
- Social Consultant
A social consultant is able to identify social problems and to design solution to the problem, and to apply the proposal developed.
- Community Empowerment Officer
A community empowerment officer is able to identify potential community empowerment, and to design program, to apply and evaluate the program held.
- Social Planner
A social planner is able to identify fact, reality, and social dynamic in the social planning perspective. He/she is also able to design social plan using big data and based on science and technology.
- Social Researcher
A social research can apply qualitative and quantitative research as the implication of sociological paradigm, and can apply qualitative or quantitative method or the combination of the two. He/she is also able to process, analyze, and present data using SPSS and NVIVO software. Additionally, he/she can complete the report of research result published.
